Last summer, while searching for a toddler-sized backpack for my son, I couldn’t find one that felt quite right. The options were often too big or too small, not quite my style, or made from fabrics I knew wouldn’t hold up to adventures at camp, the beach or backyard playdates.

I decided to create what I was looking for: durable, thoughtfully designed backpacks brought to life by whimsical characters my children loved.
